When Wim Smeets, founder of the annual BRUIS Music Festival in Maastricht, asked me if I was willing to do a collaboration, I didn’t have to think long. I designed a limited edition cradle-to-cradle bag, made from banners when Maastricht was still running as a candidate to become Capital of Culture 2018. Wim and I shared the same opinion that the ‘Via-2018’ campaign didn’t focuss enough on the established creative industry, the pioneers in design, cultural events and professional artists.

The bags where sold at Bruis and the proceeds would be a direct donation. Love it when things get tangible!
