FERRAN ADRIA: NOTES ON CREATIVITY, MARRES /
SIX ARTISTS / SIX PIECES, DE MELDKAMER /
JIP LINCKENS, LB LENA BERENS STUDIO STORE
The biggest museum in our backyard. That is how we look at TEFAF, world’s leading international art and antiques fair. Ancient, contemporary, religious, modern… all art you can imagine, together on one location. Since a few years we created a spontaneous tradition to visit the TEFAF on my birthday. A nice way to have a festive day and get inspired.
As a lot of people from throughout the world visit Maastricht during TEFAF, a side program in the city centre was born: ‘During TEFAF’. Lots of nice exhibitions, unique theatre & music productions and breathtaking dance performances are there to visit.

A lot of designers and artists initiate something during this period. Here a few we like to point out:

Artists, friends, colleagues for at least 10 years now and probably many more to come. They each exhibit a piece of their work in the smallest Art Gallery of Maastricht, de Meldkamer.
